About the DOJ Collection - a revelation of non-representational beauty.

The DOJ collection is an exploration of the emotional tides surrounding the conceptualisation of what it means to be “beautiful” in our modern day world.  A pursuit of “perfection” that is often fleeting and unattainable. 

It is not enough for the world to shout “love yourself” when the very same world is screaming “but like this”. And there is no denying that simply existing through time and space can leave us feeling separated, defeated and disconnected within the home of our own skin.

Each DOJ artwork was created with a different emotion present, yet all honour and validate two truths of our human experience. The egoic struggle of feeling seperate, and the soulful inner-knowing of our brilliant magnificence.

Each artwork serves as a gentle reminder that the practice of self-love is so much more than the adoration of the physical body. That it exceeds the limit of loving our vessels and resides in every choice we make, every boundary we hold and in every flaw we celebrate. It is in how we accept who we are. Because when recognise our wholeness and allow ourselves to feel it all, we aren’t doing it wrong - we are doing it right.
